So Many Platforms, So Little Time
Problogger’s got a Blog Platforms Poll of the Week up right now. I voted, of course (for Movable Type), and read through the comments (where I was surprised to read that Wordpress is considered “the Mercedes Benz of blogging platforms”), but what I found most interesting about the poll is it’s sheer size.
Because adding your own blogging platform to the poll is allowed, the list is growing quickly- and through it I’ve discovered so many other blogging platforms I had no idea existed before taking the poll.
Right now it looks like Wordpress is leading the pack- which is not surprising: it’s fast, it’s easy, it’s free. It’s what’s powering this very site, as well as some excellent sites and blog networks.
